Christmas is a time of magic, giving and receiving and believing in Santa. There are some cracking loving and warming Christmas movies around but Christmas day also seems to be the time for Horror. Some of the best Horror movies are always released around the Christmas period, so lets cast our minds back to see some of the best Christmas horror movies.
Gremlins
Who can forget the gremlins, and who can forget when water was dropped on the gremlins which made them multiple and then wreak havoc everywhere. A great classic, but one that was not really scary.
Black Christmas
Both the original and remake were absolutely excellent films, when you receive an obscene phone call around the Christmas period, you definitely know that something is wrong. Black Christmas has to be one of the better films ever created.
To all a Good Night
Although over 3 decades old now, this film still has to be one of the most terrifying, students begin a big party until they begin getting killed off one by one. But who is the culprit? Could the killings have anything to do with the girl who was killed in an initiation stunt at the school a few years earlier?
Childs Play
Who can forget the chucky films, which were so scary. Simply because the dolly used to hide and kill and then hide and kill. It was a classic movie, but once again got relatively over used. What I mean by this is that they made so many different sequels that it ended up getting tedious and you knew what was going to happen and the plot line just became the same old after just five minutes of viewing.
